The mission of GoldenRule Housing & Community Development Corporation is to provide, through a charitable manner, decent, safe, sanitary housing that is affordable and accessible, and economic developmental opportunities to low, very low, and moderate income residents of Central Florida. Especially household incomes that meet the criteria to qualify as very-low and low-income defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Also, to develop and build prototype low-income housing ventures which can serve as demonstrations to be replicated in other areas of Florida where the need exists. In addition, to serve as a one-stop resource center for very-low and low-income persons needing information and assistance relative to housing community, economic, and business opportunities: to joint-venture with private developers, local governments, and lenders to provide housing and related services to very-low and low-income persons.
